The Community Players troupe is made up of the very talented young people of Community CME Church. The Community Players express their love for God and appreciation for history through drama and theater. Under the leadership of Curtis D. McNeil, the Community Players provide an opportunity for young people to grow spiritually and socially through theater. The drama ministry has presented a wide range of works, from Biblically based renditions of the Passion to "The Meeting," a play about a fictitious meeting between Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Community Players present four productions each year. Their next production will be "An Evening of Theater," a dinner theater experience unlike any other! Come out to enjoy a great meal and drama. Scheduled for July 2006.
