The Missionary Society serves several important roles in the church.  The purpose of the Missionary Society is to implement the mission and facilitate unity among the women of the Missionary Council.  They make that mission and unity known both at home and abroad.  They also encourage the study of the Bible and assist in spreading the Gospel throughout the community.  They also study the needs of the church and community to aid in the development of programs, people, processes, and resources that will enable the Society to fulfill its mission.
